Default Sumitomo tires

Looking to replace the Continentals that came of my XF. At $248 a tire (TireRack.com), I am considering the Sumitomo HTR A/S P02. Anyone have experience with these on the XF?

Sumitomos are right there with some of the worst tires out there.

I am not normally a fan of Firestone either, but I put them on the XF and one of my Lotus cars, and they are all around amazing (except for snow since they are summer tires).

They are the FIREHAWK INDY 500, and they are very well priced and high reviews.

I put Sumitomo tires on my 540i years ago and they were terrible. About 5000 miles after installing the rear tires were cupped. I ended up just doing some massive burnouts to finish them off.

BTW this is a video of me burning off some of the tires. For the record they do make good smoke

I went with
Pilot Sport A/S 3+

I live in Cleveland and these get excellent marks as an all season with great wet and dry traction as well as snow performance.
