Test drove Supercharged XF
This past Saturday I drove to Bergen Jaguar in Paramus N.J. to test drivethe XF. There were quite a few people at the dealership that day also doing the same thing as myself. I was greeted by the receptionist and was asked if I wanted to test drive the XF. I asked if I can drive the Supercharged version. She called over one of the salesmen and soon enough I was behind the wheel of a XF Supercharged Jaguar.
My first impression of the car was the exterior and how I found it to be easy on the eyes. My favorite view of the car is the front. The rear looks like quite a few other cars I have seen. The fit and finish of the exterior seemed quite nice. As I getting inside my first impression of the leather seating was alittle disappointing. Maybe because my daily driver is an Audi A8L and the interior is outstanding. Audi seems to have some of the nicest interiors thatI have everseen. The wood trim was also a letdown. I would prefer carbon fiber similar to what I have in my AudiS4. Lets get down to business.
My passenger ( salesman )for my 15 minutethrill ride was a very nice chap named Hans. He told me tocrank it up and go on the highway. A very nice throaty sound. I moved the dial to drive and put the pedal to the metal. A very nice rush came over me. I immediately started to use the paddle shifters and before Iknew it we were at 90 MPH on Route 17. VERY POWERFUL. We then proceeded to one of the exits and maneuvered the car on some twisties.Very tight and cornered very well. I did not get a chance to listen to the stereo or check out any of the car's other features. My first impression when testing a new vehicle is PERFORMANCE. THIS BABY LIVES UP TO THAT.
Anywaymy lease is up in December on my A8L and I will be also considering the Audi S6, Audi S5and the Jaguar XJR. So far I can say that the XF is in the running.

I totally agree about the B&W........amazing sound and power. I think the sound quality is unmatched. In my last lease, a Lexus I had the mark levinson system and it didnt come close to the B&W. I am a bit biased as I have B&W in my home system...
This car is my first car with Sirus Sat radio and I am disappointed as I think the sound quality cannot compare to the music feed with my iPod...
