Why did you decide to go with right angles at the front edge of the stripe? The XF doesn't have many straight lines, sharp edges or sharp corners like a Cadillac CTS.

I like the stripe but think it should continue down to the grille and be more rounded. But the size and concept are awesome. And it the stripe color looks great on your car. I have wanted to do a ghost one on my black XF. With the addition of a carbon fiber splitter and rear spoiler, your XF will have killer looks in my opinion. Great job!

I know you're just experimenting but since you're also looking for an opinion, here goes...
1) I hate the rims. The spokes are just too fat for the look of the car. Sorry!
2) The stripe clashes with the look of the car. Perhaps a gunmetal dark silver? The black/w square edges attempts to recreate a 70's musclecar theme too much for me.

3) If you really like the idea of a stripe on the hood then maybe try starting it down lower on the nose? Guessing here.

Just FYI those rims are OEM for 2009 XFs...

Regarding the stripe, to each his own. I personally think it detracts from the car, less is better imo with a car as beautifully designed as the XF. But if you like it and that's what people are into up that way (I have found NYers and LIers in general get a little weird with their car game) then you do you bro

I like the rims...they are stock Volans...but I am actually working on Rohanna RC 22( actually 20 in ch rims) will show my calipers and slotteds better.
The stripe didn't come out exactly as I wanted ... But the black actually looks good real time. ... The good thing is with wraps and decals they are temp....I'll keep it for a bit.... We have some rally,s here on the Island . Thanks for the feedback.

Jaguars are beautiful cars. Minor personalization doesn't bother me, but when they start to look like hoopties, it hurts my heart!

I'd agree that it's a very muscle car look (with the race stripe and big spoke wheels), but that's just a question of preference. I like sleek and elegant, but my 09 SC definitely has times when it wants to just growl. I can certainly appreciate that look going with that feel.
I really like the side vents too. It's a sharp look on silver.
