I have 2011 XF Premium. I cannot dock my Ipad or a blue tooth adapter for streaming from my phone. All I get is a message saying to dock the Ipad.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

There is no factory Bluetooth Streaming in a 2011 XF

 

What type of BT adaptor are you using?

 

I know there is no bluetooth streaming. The device I bought (CY Audio Aux Bluetooth & USB Female Adapter Cable for Car Jaguar Land Rover LR4 Range Rover Sport) is supposed to plug into the Ipod port and get a bluetooth signal from my phone.

In any case, when I connect it, or the Jaguar adapter cable into the port, I get a dock device error message.

 

Try it in the USB port instead of the iPod one
