Default Updated Wheels & New Sound System + Issue.

I had the 22'' Savini BM4 looked nice loved them but then i seen an XF with a 5 spoke lexani wheel i thought they were 24's but because the spoke came out all the way to where the tire was it made the 22'' wheel look bigger/better in my eyes ....I am going to post a picture of my car 1 year ago and what i got done on the 8th of May (this past friday)

Got the BM8 22x9 front and 22x10.5 in the back... went with a 265/25 tire in the back the 295 would rub on the previous wheels if i had a 3rd person in the back if i went up a curb or hit a small roller coaster dip on the freeway (not sure what they are called) not bad but just annoying ..... i love the new setup i had them put a white vinyl stripe they are originally suppose to be black also the guy was able to print out the jaguar logo and stick them over my Savini caps..... drives smooth i have another car for daily use / far long drives (you gotta know how to drive if you're putting any kind of rims on your car and i would never let a woman drive my car.... only my oldest brother and another friend of mine are the only other drivers who are allowed to drive this vehicle ..... lol. let me know what you guys think.... next post below will be my sound system having a small issue with it.

two 10'' Fosgate p3 in a ported box with a face plate looks like the car was built with it at the factory ;-) 1200w Fosgate amp i had 1000w before and it wasnt enough power on hot days it would shut off after 30 minutes .... and......... thats about it for now sounds very nice.... ill be adding a 4 channel 400 - 500 watt amp for my speakers inside the vehicle as well and they are going to make a new amp rack so its going to look a lot nicer where that bad *** spare tire used to be lmao .....

my issue right now is when the bass goes on i get a signal that the trunk "BOOT OPEN" shows up on my dash im very annoyed about this it lightly unhooks a tad bit..... its not like the trunk is going to fly open. ... .. has anyone had this problem or know what it could be ? thank you.

You might be right about Velcro, just not in the way you think!
On my old XFS the trunk (boot) lid had about 1/2'' of movement when fully shut.
It stayed properly shut, but it still 'wobbled' up and down if I pressed on it, and it rattled a bit.
I fixed this by sticking a small piece of Velcro to each of the little plastic spring loaded tabs (the ones that sit a couple of inches either side of the U shaped central latch/hook).
This completely stopped all movement and it just might be enough to stop your truck lid from flexing and popping.
But the little bits of Velcro didn't stay put I superglued them in place.

I was a fan of the BM4's. Came close to buying them myself. New set looks good too. Lots of rotor and brake caliper visible. Could be your next move? Stereo looks well done. I like nice sound even in the car. Now if I had a V8 f type I wouldn't care so much. Enjoy the new setup.

Loving the new look! I've been wheel hunting myself and you may have just persuaded me to pull the trigger on a set. I've gotten bored with the look of my car and wanna do something different. I'm with Jaguny the only other thing I would do in your case is maybe paint the calipers and maybe consider drilled and slotted rotors at some point in the future. Once again, looks great!

Is that a custom box? It looks like it fits flush. And the face plate looks OEM. Were can I get one?

Don't get those...I think they look "toy-ish" For $200 I'm pretty sure you can have someone do a good job of painting your existing ones or you could get the do it yourself kit. That's what I did when I painted mine white and bought some high heat jaguar decal vinyls to put on after they dried. Came out great and have had no issues with the vinyls peeling off.

Being that the barrel of your wheels are black, black isn't going to stand out and that may be the look your shooting for (but if they're already black just leave em as is and maybe order some white Jaguar vinyl decals) and everybody has red but if those are your two options I would probably go with red or some color that stands out. IF I change my wheels I'll probably repaint mine either lime green or yellow. If you need any help with finding vinyls PM me.
