Default Vibration above 50 miles an hour 2.2D XF 2012

Hi their first time posting on here and more importantly my first ever Jaguar. I’ve got a 2012 Jaguar XF 2.2D and have a very irritating vibration. It come at about 50-60 mph, and the steering shakes as well as the passenger seat of you stick auto box into neutral it doesn’t disappear so that I think has ruled out drivetrain issues so far I’ve done all discs and pads, 4 new tyres and had all wheels re balanced twice as well as 4wheel alignment. Garage have said there no play in any suspension components but I can hear what I believe is a wheel bearing starting to go but there is no play in any of the wheels. I would greatly appreciate any advice or clues as I love the car but it is letting it down on the motorway.
thank you in advance for your replies

Usually it's a bent wheel - they bend quite easily. Given you've had it balanced (did they road force balance it - if not might try that before you throw more money at it)

My guess would be a wheel bearing else another suspension component. But a good shop should be able to properly diagnose. It will cost a lot if they just keep 'trying stuff'

Hi their both thank you for your replies would a bent wheel not show while being balanced ? In the past when I’ve bent alloys it’s shown.
no play in any suspension or bearing so at a loss as to what the problem might be could it be faulty wheel balancing machine and is it worth getting it checked somewhere else to see if their machine is off as they balance 2 weeks ago when tyres were fitted went back yesterday And they were off balance again.

I know my cars inside out and do all repairs myself but just baffled by this problem as never seen it before

I changed all my tires balanced them plus wheel alignment did not fix my shaking passenger seat and vibration
,so in the end they found both front wheels had a slight bend not noticable to the eye ,they sent the car to have each wheel fixed ,problem solved, instead of 40s 45s are recommended

Thank you for replying out of interest what size alloys have you got and yes I had 45s put on the car made for a much better ride also forgot to mention cars pulling to left do you think that Is just poor alignment by national tyres ? As was fine before they tracked front even tho only the back was out but as you said looking like alloys need a refurb.
would love to sort the problem as car goes like a dream otherwise.

Yes - a bent wheel should show up on balancing. But if you took it in twice to be balanced and it was off balance the second time then something may not be right with their machine or use. I would find somewhere with a road force balance machine which balances the wheel under simulated load on a road vs just free spinning. Should give a more accurate balance

Thank you all for your replies finally found the problem this morning went to quick fit and although I won’t use them for the work they found problem using there MOT ramp and drivers wishbone has excessive movement meaning wheel is going back and forth while driving no clunks but the only component that’s got any movement. Ordered the parts and that’s my task for next weekend

also on another kit got tracking re done at national tyres and turned out person doing it wasn’t turning steering wheel to check caster before allignment so needless to say 3 trips later and I’m happy
