Do you really think that I was suggesting to shift the car into "park" while it was still in motion??

I got the wheels balanced day before at Firestone and although the ride seems to be a little b it smoother, the vibrations have increased. I can see the steering vibrate a little even around 40-50 mph. I let go of the steering to check this and I could it vibrate. I'm really concerned about this now that this is very prominent. I did ask the guys at Firestone to check for bent rims as well and they said that it's part of the process of balancing wheels. But when I went to pick up the car, the guy at the front desk said they didn't and it couldn't be done then as it was closing time. Taking it in again this Saturday to get that checked.

I'm having this same issue! Did you ever find a resolution? Old thread I know.
