Happy holidays!

I cannot get video output from the USB port in my 2013 XF. Each time I connect a device to the USB port and select video, I get a response to say something like 'please plug in USB device". This is an enigma! Any advice would be appreciated.

I use a thumb drive to play music in the USB port. When I first downloaded the songs from ITunes, the files were in a MPEG-4 format. Those songs were not recognized by the car after I plugged the drive into the USB port. I converted the files to MP3 and the songs played just fine. Maybe your video files need to be converted to a format that can be recognized by the USB port. I just don't know what format name would work.
