I'm going to guess that he doesn't do enough drag racing to care about a few 10ths.

The 3M 1080 roof works well with the lines of the XF, esp. with the factory black pack I did mine over 6 months ago and it is the best mod I have done.

Each to there own but I think 15mm rear spacers work well also, but then again I personally like subtle mods.

Vs2- I searched through your old threads to see if you had posted photos of your R. Didn't find any other than your signature. That is a good looking car; any chance you can post a few photos?

De-badging the XF is one of the worst things you could've done. The rear of a factory XF is beautiful IMO. The chrome strip with J A G U A R inscribed should've never been messed with. Some cars you can de-badge, like a Chevy, but not an XF. The luxury feel in the car is now gone. The wheels are nice though! Good choice on that! But the staggered option should've been pursued as the sleek front-end of the XF isn't intended for a 22".

Just curious, but if you wanted to de-badge and take the luxury out of the vehicle, why you just didn't get the new charger and do this? I think the mods you are doing would look awesome on that new charger, especially the wheels.

TC - The more I look at your pics, the more I like.

Badging = Luxury feel. Everybody got it now?

Thanks for all the compliments and comments, I appreciate all those who took time out to check out the pics and comment. Will get the tails tinted soon and I in the process of ordering springs to lower the XF.

One dislike- I feel like the wheels are out to far on the front. Did you use spacers or is it the offset of the wheel? Also I think you should lower it.

I love the roof!! It give the car a nice look. Did you 3m wrap in or paint? How much did you spend on the roof? you can pm me about costs on the roof.
The roof and all the chrome is covered in 3M gloss black wrap, easily reversible if I want to change the look. Material is about $65/square yard and labor was $60 an hour in my area.

Thanks again for your insights, and I appreciate the fact that you like my choice of wheels.

Thanks Duke, appreciate the kind words.

My XF still feels like a Jaguar every time I drive it, but I tried to "Luxury" up my friends Chevy, but unfortunately my friend said it did not feel any more "luxurious" despite my best efforts. See pics below TC

I like the black pack a lot. When I do find my XFR the black pack will be mod #1 (and probably the only one at that). I don't care so much for the wheels but I dislike aftermarket wheels in general.

Outstanding car mod. Alas I wish I hadn't bought black...... Im struggling with my mod decisions. I used to be a traditionalist, black on black with lots of chrome but Im really enjoying the DE chromed mods out there with the black back.
Great work man!

Default awesome

1st-I love the wheels. Cars now a days have enough power to spin those wheels.
2nd- Im painting my roof here soon. I have same color concept.
3rd- de-badging is fine trust me people either know its a jag xf or they just don't care. I took mine off, kinda between an XF-SC and an XFR-SS!!

I've seen this car 1000x around the net but somehow missed this thread. I think it looks great and even the updates that you did in lowering even tho lowering is not my thing but again overall the car looks great! Do you remember the rear offset on your wheels? I have a set of staggered 22s on my XF but just ordered a set of 22x9 all the way around for my fiance's XF and am wondering if I'm going to have to go with a spacer on the rear so the wheels sit flush.

I love the way it looks! I am a little biased towards those who do the mods as a form of personal expression. And this one looks great!

My wheels were 32 mm offset all around. It was fine before I lowered it, after I lowered it, it would rub in the front when I turn too hard.

Looks like my XF! This was right after I bought it and had all chrome painted gloss black and then roof. 3 years ago!! 😄
New wheels on the way and way more done to it now! Headlights cut open and blacked out was the best!!
