Default Water Ingress

Saw another post about an issue I had

Anyone know if there has been a PB/Recall on water ingress in these 2013 XFs.

Feel like its such a common issue and I don't think it would be acceptable by any standards for most of these models to have water ruining their junction boxes (which is a 2-5k repair), and there not be a recall?

I've heard a million times about someones sunroof, rear vents or wheel wells giving up.

you’re dealing with JLR they don’t give af about you 😂😂😂

i remember when they jacked up the cjb prices from 1k to 3500 during the pandemic. water intrusion from the washer pump isn’t what kills most of these they just suck

Sorry if this is a stupid question... if there's a TSB on it, it doesn't mean Jaguar willl cover the repairs right?

Parts+Labour still owners responsibility?

Issue is CSB is like 5k CAD

The purpose of the TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) is to give factory mechanics a heads up and hopefully a quicker way to fix a somewhat common problem. So they are trying to reduce the time and cost to Jaguar to repair this problem.
Recalls are going to be safety related and a junction box is just not that big of a safety problem. No Jaguar will not pay anything unless your car is under warranty.

Here is a PDF version of the JTB (Jaguar Technical Bulletin) if you want it?
Yes the cost is massive!
