Default Water in the car.

Hi everyone one. I got xj8vpd 2004 jaguar.
I got a leaky sunroof. I poured water with the sunroof open and the water flow out all 4 corner. So it's draining ok can't figure out why it was wet behind the driver seat. After a down pour. Any idea?.

Surprisingly there are lots of areas which can leak water on the Jag

See the sticky (How to) on this forum.

Look for Jaguar TSB

Some leaks can be very difficult to find and stop

TSB tells you how to address water ingress spots. The rear door seal is a known issue along with the trunk area.

Marine grade clear sealant works good to rectify. Had the same issue on my previous 04 XJ8. Took care of all areas on TSB and inside was bone dry after 2" of rain.

Finally, remove the drivers seat and trim and vacuum up excess water collected in carpet and foam.
