Default Wavy Tachometer?

Noticed that the tachometer on my XFR seems wavy. I know the tach fluctuates from the time u start the car till the time you turn the car off, but seeing it bounce a little or wave at a steady speed doesn't seem normal.

Has anyone else seen this on their XF or XFR?

Maybe a tech can help answer if they see this as well.

ps. Hope everyone had a great Xmas.

It's very, very, very slight, and only presents itself on lazy acceleration. I kind of like it as it feels a little more organic.

I have a 2010 XF Premium and I have seen this effect, but on both the tach and speedometer. Noticeable when first starting but always present especially in traffic stop and go. The effect is like the old days when mechanical connections to the instrument panel were slipping due to worn drive cables. Makes the car seem a little 'cheap' but does not affect my love of the car.
