Welcome to the forum jagmt, when you get a moment stop by our new members area and introduce yourself ==>> New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

The stock offset for the 8.5" rim on the XF is ET49, if you went to an ET22 then that's pushing the wheel out 27mm, pretty sure you might have issues with rubbing...

For 8.5" width, 35mm is as aggressive as you can go without sticking out. 22mm will look bad even if you don't rub.

i wanna achieve the flushed look and i could use this as a guide. if i choose to have a 9" width, does it mean the offset gotta be like 40mm?

Jagmt, there is a tire rim calculator on this forum under the tools menu. Enter your current info and your after info and you will get the info on the changes. You can use this a guide. There are some better ones that actually illustrate the change. You can then check measurement on your car to see the impact. Are you buying new wheels?

im not a very technical guy

yes im changing my wheels for the xfr brakes to fit onto my xf. i was just thinking that the 27mm would barely just make it if there is a big camber setting. maybe
