When to service car
Jaguar recommended service intervals are on a mileage or time elapsed basis - whichever occurs first.
Depending on which model XF you have, this will be 10K or 15K miles on a mileage basis.
However, with your low mileage you should service on a time interval. This is every 12 months unless operated for short journeys or in severe conditions. In this case, Jaguar recommend 6 monthly servicing.

For the 2012 gas models, it's one year or 15K miles whichever occurs first. I assume your 3.0 is a diesel and it is probably different. Your operator manual or service booklet should give this information.
This may help. 2012 xjl. Service light didn't come on until about 15 days until 1 year anniversary. So yours should come on very soon regardless of the mileage. Kind of dumb that we can't scroll thrust the service menu to see how many days remaining until next service. At least on 2012 xjl this can't be done.
