Default Where’s all the mechanics?

I’ve got a cold start issue. 2011 XF 5.0 gasoline. 58,000 miles.

Stumbles on startup, throws restricted performance, low and high fuel pressure codes. Shut it off and starts back up and runs/drives fine. It’s like there’s no fuel at the rails after sitting for more than a few hours or the system isn’t priming with fuel before starting. I’ve replaced both high pressure fuel pumps and the fuel filter/flange. I’m about to replace the fuel pressure sensor/sender behind the wheel well. Any ideas????

Before throwing parts at the issue, check to see the available voltage and low side fuel pressure.

If the battery has less than 12.6 volts with the ignition in the OFF position when checked across the terminals with a voltmeter, that may be one of the causes.

Any other codes or just those two? Do you have the maintenance manual? It has a lot of helpful info.

Try adding some injector cleaner first. I realize that won't explain the codes but who knows and is easy.
Mine does it occasionally and throws two temperature sensor codes! I need to try some cleaner in mine but haven't gotten around to it yet. It is also possible that it is also something to do with the battery slow to recover after cranking and we are both getting spurious codes because we need a new battery soon.

What product do you use? I have run BK44 as that has been recommended on this forum. I don't have any problems and did it just as a experiment.
Did not notice anything.

just those 2 codes. Bank 1 low/high pressure. Changed the sensor behind the driver wheel well. Didn’t make a difference.

OK that was also recommended and I have used Seafoam a bunch in older carbureted cars with good results.
