So I am at a loss. I have replaced almost everything on this car and I just replaced the wiring harness on it as well and now I have a code popping up saying b122 the vehicle still will not start. Can anybody help even if it's you helping us remotely? I don't have any money right now but I have no problems paying. I just need to be able to get to work to be able to pay someone, but if anyone could help me right now that would be greatly appreciated. Whether it's advice, comments, anything

 

You need a better scanner. There is another 2 digit code at the end of that one. Something like 23 or 13. B1222-xx
Can you get the car connected to a working SDD?
I am afraid that is the best way forward. We just don't have enough information to help.

I have no idea what a master lock switch is? Maybe they are talking about the ignition switch?
Also don't know if that code will prevent starting or not?

Can you give us some history? Why are you replacing everything?
Again let's be clear? Does the car crank and not start or does it not crank at all?

We have replaced:
1. high pressure fuel line
2. high pressure sensor
3. high pressure fuel pump
4. ecm replaced and reprogrammed
5. low pressure fuel pump
6. crank shaft sensor
7. oil level sensor
8. spark plugs
9. keys replaced and programed
10. Fuel filter
11. Injectors
12. Battery
13. All relay replaced,underhood and fuse box
??can anyone provide any information and or advice we can not get my wifes car going??
-vehicle acts like it wants to but just wont.
-Since battery was unconnected we have had the ECM cloned and installed with all codes cleared except oil level sensor we replaced that that.
-Then the fuel sender A and B code show up so then we replaced the fuel sending unit
-The only codes we have showing now are
B11db, u0142, u0010, u0422, u0155 u0140, c1b00, u101b, b1087,u0103, u3000 ,p2542
-We have cleared the codes and now we are only showing codes for body control module and low pressure fuel system sensor circut high

Okay so update on the XF 2.0. we had a gentleman off of here help us with the modules and some of them did need to be reprogrammed again so he was able to do that for us. We also replaced the wiring harness. The vehicle is still not starting unfortunately. Now we have a code popping up that is saying Master lock and unlock switch which is b1222 so does anybody have any advice whatsoever? I cannot afford unfortunately to reach out to the gentleman who was helping us. Unfortunately this car has made us severely broke and with me not working because it's broke down. I'm having to pay for rides everywhere so it's costing a lot of money we need to get it running.
Everything we replaced it at one point had a code for . I will post pictures of what add is saying now. We do have proper sdd and it is working but unfortunately we know little about what we are doing for this vehicle Jaguar is not one we get ever and we dont usually do anything programming.

 

So we did have a gentleman helping us program and he did reprogram a lot of our modules now that side of it is good but the vehicle will crank and really acts like it wants to start but just doesnt.

 

I think the guy you had helped a great deal? Might be worth letting him continue as you have less problems indicated now. I know you said the cost was stopping you but do consider that he at least has made good progress when no one else has?
At least the engine is cranking.

Can you post the fuel pressure? LP and HP pumps? It sounds like you have narrowed this down to a fuel problem from what I can see. I have never worked on the 4 cylinder so I don't know how it's supplied with fuel. On the V-8's I have SDD can read both the LP and HP fuel pump outputs.

Now this is a standard question so let's get it out of the way. How old is the battery? What is the resting voltage of the car after it has sat all night?

I know it's very frustrating but stay with it as I think your getting close to a solution.
What caused all this to begin with? From the laundry list of parts replaced is this a auction or flood car?
