Hi this is my first post. I had an issue that sometime the fuel gauge would say I was out of fuel when I had plenty in the tank. 10 minutes later it would go back to the correct fuel level. I found the Jaguar fix on this forum

I have done to repair but now it constantly says it has no fuel. I waited a few days to see if it would sort itself out but no luck. I took the pump and sender out today to check the wiring connections and they look okay and secure but plan B is to solder the connections rather than crimp them. If this doesn’t fix the issue then I will try buying a whole new unit.

has anyone else tried this fix and had issues afterwards? How did you do. It? Also where do you recommend online I get a new pump/sender?

Check that the earth is ok on the sender or wiring.
no earth would give you a empty tank reading.

Aldo check you still have a live feed to the sender.
