Xf 3lt supercharged jag
Hi, I have recently purchased a 3lt supercharged xf Jag. I had a problem with coolant leaking from the upper plastic pipe. Thanks to this forum i have replaced both the lower and upper pipes. I also had issues with the water pump blead pipe that broke. Once again with help from this forum i purchased the new modification pipes..part numbers aj813565 and C2Z28467. My problem now is the latter part..does not fit the water pump. It is just to small. I have tried and tried but it will not go on. The other end fits into the thermostat with no issues, but the hose is to small for the water pump outlet. Is another modification needed.i.e updated water pump or do I have a faulty new part...water hose. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Could it be that a broken off part of the old tube remains in the water pump outlet?
Its tricky to get out, you need to push in the outer ring in order to get the inner piece out.
If it is not that, some pictures would help.
Good luck,
Chris

Thanks guys for your feedback. I think I have solved it. The water hose I have purchased..C2Z28467 is for the 5 lt V8. This must have a slightly different water pump spout. I was a bit puzzled when I studied the coolant hose diagram posted. I have now been in touch with Jaguar and they sent me a diagram that made more sense for the 3 lt sc. So I have the wrong hose part. Thanks for your help.cheers
