Good day All,
My Jag XF Portfolio car, model 2011, is in very good condition. However when I go on a vacation , the battery dies down. I had to replace battery twice in last 18 months.
Pls give me suggestions as to what should be done to prevent this occurrence.

Are you locking the car? If left unlocked, there are systems that remain active and drain the battery.

 

There are so many possibilities that I would start by searching for "Parasitic Battery Drain" and going from there.

 

Also recommended for low use cars is to install a CTEK battery maintainer.
But listen to the above posts because your car does have a current draw somewhere?

Also if it has keyless entry, make sure the keys are not stored near the car.
