Default XF electricity cut - safety feature?

Hello,

I am a new member and this is my first post. Just bought a XF 5.0SC from US auctions. It has 40k miles on it and looks like it had a small accident on the front. No airbags deployed but the car is dead (has no electrical power). Maybe Jags have a safety feature like BMWs have? Like the positive battery wire is being disconnected automatically in unlikely event of crash?
I know it is a big risk to buy such car from auctions but it is amazing car so worth the risk In Lithuania it is very rare and almost impossible to buy a petrol XF.

Pretty sure that in the event of a crash the ignition immobilizer is triggered.
But I don't know where it is or how to reset it.
I suspect it can only be reset using the dealer SDD equipment.

Get the handbook (free download) and look up things like inertia switch.
