XF injector stuck open problem
Thanks much and am still troubleshooting this.
I had the injector failure with massive white smoke but the injectors can't be shorted out? I sent them off to be cleaned and balanced. The shop found no problems with any of them. I re-installed them and they have continued working for the last 2000+ miles. So how could they short and then start back working again?
Same with the ECU problem? I can understand and accept either explanation but again I have re-installed my 60K+ miles OEM injectors with no additional problems.
It has to be some kind of temporary failure that can be cleared some how.
Can't explain the huge failure and then in the end found nothing wrong with the car?
