Default XF Interior lights - stay on even when driving!

Hope someone has an idea or a link to wiring diagram for 2013 S turbo diesel model, then I could figure it out. I know there are many diagrams out there, but mine is the stop/start model and there were massive wiring changes from the original 250 xf and the 250 xf 2012 model that seems to be out there.

So here goes.
Open car door all lights (front overhead, rear overhead, footwell etc) come on as normal.
Close doors can be in there for minutes, interior lights do not dim down and go off.
Start car, interior lights all stay on even for a 2 hour drive.
(No open door indication on dash so don't suspect switches in doors - although cant be 100% sure since no access to wiring diagrams.)
Turn of engine, exit car, close door, lock with fob and all interior lights do switch off.

SO FAR, I suspected that the Front Junction Box (body module) was involved because the 2012 wiring diagrams (fairly widely available) pointed to in that area, however a check of the fuses from that diagram showed that mine did not even come close to matching the diagram, on further investigation of those diagrams saw that there was only one battery so not even stop/start. So those diagrams are no use.
I did however come across the dreaded water in front junction box info and when checking mine found corrosion on the bottom 4 pins of the C5 connector. and then one night looked out of my window and saw a light at the front of the car - left hand front DRL only.
I have now soldered 4 wires to back of JB and put an external plug and socket in the loom for those pins and solved the DRL and washer issue.

BUT the interior lights still stay on once door is opened and don't turn off until car is shutdown and the doors are locked.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

After you are in the car and it is running, have you tried taping the center console overhead light to see if they will go off?

Hi Hlgeorge, yes I've tried tapping, holding all manner of things on front centre light, unfortunately no change only way to turn off all interior lights is to exit and lock car.
