My 2008 2.7 XF has intermittent starting issue.
On starting the engine cranks but dosent fire until i either slowly release the footbrake or slowly apply the footbrake depending on which way ive tried to start it.
Majority of the time it starts fine with footbrake applied as normal but if it dosent fire then as above i slowly apply or release the footbrake and its starts.
Drives fine once started with no loss of power or missing and is intermittent problem, anyone else had a similar problem and managed to get it rectified.
A new battery was fitted six months ago so plenty of battery available thankfully
