hi everyone,
this is my first post in this forum btw

anywho, it only started yesterday night upon my arrival at my home: i opened the trunk to fetch something and it wont shut back down again no matter what i do!?

car wont lockout neither, having the trunk open ofcourse!

so, has anyone encountered a simliar issue with this make/model or any other one... and how to fix it if possible.

The wiring harness where it runs along the boot hinge often fails from repeated opening and closing. I'd start there. Slide off the rubber wire cover and see if the individual wires are broken. If that's the problem you can either replace the harness (not too expensive) or you can just splice the broken wire for basically free

 

Thank you BritCars , I tried it and it worked. i also tried to reset system by shorting ...not sure which did it but its done!
