Default XFR Changing Shifter - Need to Program?

Hi,

I have a 2014 XFR and the shifter is starting to stick, usually in reverse. I picked up a used shifter to swap in and I'm wondering if it needs some kind of programming.

I think the problem is with that solenoid activated lever that locks the shifter when power is off. If it is does anybody know a way to fix that?

Thanks, Bill

you can actually solder the one joint that cracked. I had this issue over last summer and just added some more solder to it and it was fine.
