Default Lower Ball joints and Outer Rear Hub bearing replacement

So looks like my next project will be fixing all of this. I've been able to find the Outer Hub bearings in my JEPC, but I can't seem to find the lower ball joints.

Also, what am I looking at time wise? I was told roughly 2 hours per joint and no idea on the bearings.

Also, is there a guide anywhere for this? I tried searching and wasn't able to find a step by step picture guide.A video would also be great.

Default I found 2 vendors that sell your lower ball joint

Hi
The lower ball joint is usually sold as part of the front lower wishbone RH rear (JLM21302) and front lower wishbone LH rear (JLM21303). They are $256.75 each at Gaudin Jaguar.

Do not worry because Jagbits sell the lower ball joint assembly as part number MNC1350AA-OE for $79.78 each. Jagbits also says this: "This item is NOT available from any Jaguar dealer, they will only sell the entire control arm which will include this ball joint."
Here is the website link:
Jaguar - Lower Ball Joint

I used the part number to find it at another vendor on the internet.
SNG Barratt -USA (located in Vermont) has it for $23.13 aftermarket and for $39.96 OEM.
Here is the website link:
SNG Barratt - USA | Parts | Lower Ball Joint

Front lower wishbone std labor hrs is 1.9 hrs each side per ALLDATA.

The rear hub outer wheel bearing (CAC6333) at Gaudin Jaguar is $25.84 plus shipping.
Also try Nalley Jaguar - another forum sponsor - might have better price and free shipping.

All Data has the rear wheel bearing standard labor at 2.3 hrs for one side.

One of these days I owe you a beer or ten. You're a life saver as always Jim.

I'll call the Nalley guys on Tuesday. I try to buy most of my parts from them as they are always amazing.

Default JTIS extract on Front lower wishbone rear R&I

Hello again
I just extracted the Front Lower Wishbone Rear Removal & Install instructions from my JTIS21 CD that is stored on my PC:

2001 XJ Front Lower Wishbone rear R&I.pdf

Also you might have to find a local machine shop to remove the balljoints from the Lower wishbone rear (need to press to do it), also have them press in the new balljoint.

Look at this other thread here on the XK subforum. Here is the weblink:

Go down to post#45 - Good information from another forum member that had your same problem.
