Hi Friends,

All of a sudden I have noticed that the driver's auto 'up' window closing function is not working. The auto 'down' works fine. The close works while I hold the button.

Any ideas?

Did you recently put in a new battery? The settings may have been erased, meaning you must "teach" the windows how to auto-up again. I know there's a very simple method that I can't remember right now. Do a quick search and you'll find it.

 

Yes, you're right, I did recently disconnect the battery to work on the instrument cluster.

Well chalk it up to laziness. It's all in the manual.

To reset the auto close, close and hold the button in the close position for 2 seconds. Let go and hold button in close position for 2 more seconds. That's it.

Close the window and hold the switch for a few seconds (can't remember how many), so to be on the safe side go for about five seconds..
