Hi all....Hope everyone is enjoying a happy Xmas season! There are several threads on installing/replacing/upgrading to the 10.1" infotainment screen in the XJ but I haven't seen any that address replacing the OEM small screen w/this 12.1" Android screen. Although I'm tech challenged in general it appears to me this is basically the same screen discussed at great length in the XK forums where it seems this aftermarket system has been successfully installed and utilized for a couple of years. My feeling is if I have to go to the trouble/expense of removing existing unit might as well replace w/larger, more advanced one in lieu of smaller, factory look-alike 10.1" screen. Bottom line, has anyone installed and successfully utilized the 12.1" Android screen in the XJ? As Always, thanks for your informed advice and input!

I've seen several people with those huge screens. Install should be the same as the 10" just different bezel.
I personally don't like the huge Tesla like screen. They use the same generic interface in all of them. Same as the one I installed in my girl's Pathfinder..and Accord.
MM....thanks for your response. I sorta agree w/your take on the big screens but much of today's auto infotainment tech is utilizing these large screens.. In my opinion the smaller screens date the car's appearance if that kinda thing concerns one.
