Emergency help!!!! I was in the process of replacing my 2011 XJ Supersport’s battery when all of a sudden cylinder 2 started miss firing! Getting codes P0302 and P0316, pinging sounds in the engine. Car is going into restricted mode and flashing engine light. Any ideas??

 

You were replacing the battery with it running?

 

Update: just picked up the car from the Jaguar mechanic. Was having the issues this morning, then just stopped! The mechanic cleared all the codes and it’s had no other issues. He is clueless as to what caused it.
