I have a 2011 XJL 5.0 and my engine light code says p02f4 injector code on cylinder 7 and it’s idling rough misfiring and I have the yellow restricted performance message. I also have random misfire at start up 1000 revolution code and 3 misfire codes on 3 cylinders. If I replace that one injector, is it anything that has to be done special after installing the new one? Because replacing all 4 is expensive so I’d rather place the one that’s bad.

Yes single fuel injector can be replaced. If you can source your own parts, buy the Landrover injector LR079542 online, should be under $100. Also buy a retaining clip LR010767 for the new injector (~$15). This is far cheaper than buying the Jaguar parts.

EDIT: I think you are supposed to register each fuel injector to the cylinder it’s used on using SDD. This permits calibration of fuel being sprayed by each injector, as there is some variance.

you do not have to program a new injector, but you should clear adatations in the ecu, and if dumping fuel change the oil the injectors i have are jaguar oem with clips at $100 ea or a set of 8 for $650 as i said weeks ago in my pm to you. Also gave you linkls to the tools you need to pull the injectors and you have to size the teflon sealing rings and need a tool for that or it will tear the seal installing. If you replace 1 you still have to install new seals on the other 3 for that bank. And FYI don't keep letting this go. This is a primary reason cats get killed and theyre a lot more than injectors
