My rear sun screen does not work on my newly purchased 2011 XJL with 39k miles. I hear nothing when I press the button. I can lift the screen partially but that did not do anything. Can someone tell me where to look for the fuse as I want to check the fuse out. I noticed when I took delivery of the car, the battery had been changed with a sticker of 11/17, so I assume the battery has been replaced. Any help with my problem would be appreciated.

Theres a fusebox under the hood, on the right hand side. There's also one in the trunk/boot on the right hand side covered by a small removable panel.

 

According to the owners manual sunblind is fuse F21 a green 30 amp in the trunk fuse box. If you do not have the owners manual it can be downloaded from the forum.

 

 

the fuse is behind the armrest from the rear Seat, pull the armrest down, and move up the carpet in the hole and you will see a big box with all fuses for interior staff.
