2018 10.5 screen work with 2016 +
Has anybody successfully installed a 10.5 screen into a 16 or newer XJ?
The TFT cluster is a real nice upgrade over the ageing 2015 and older LCD dash. Its ashame they didn't upgrade the infotainment screen the same year. There are model year 18's manufactured in 17 that have the 10.5 screen. I imagine it wouldn't be much work, obviously just reprogramming of the BCM. It would be nice to get both the TFT cluster and 10.5 screen in a 09 and newer XJ. I hate the chrome accecnts they added to the bumper and door handles in 16.
Yes I'm aware there is an available Android system specific to the 09 and up XJ.
