Hey guys, new here and I have a question. I am in the process of doing the coolant line change out on my 2013 XJ 3.0 SC and I have seen a couple of videos showing changing out the oil cooler when doing this job. Is it necessary to replace and if so, what is a good one to buy the doesn't come with the OEM price tag?

 

Unless it's damaged or leaking, there is no need to replace the oil cool on the AJ126. Replace the connector pipe from the back of the water pump with the aluminium version if you have it.

 

Yes, I bought the all metal pipe kit.

 

Also I broke the elbow for the line that goes to the reservoir. Dose anyone know where to find it? I’ve search the web with no luck.

If you're in there replace it with the new gasket ,I've done one to many where the metal pipe cracked and the gasket ,due to vibration of the water pump, last week I changed one in a F-type ,they couldn't find the leak ,but i found it ,ill post a pic of pipe ,the cooler is so cheap just do it

 

Which brand of cooler did you go with?
