Default 575 Inbound

Pulled the trigger and got a fantasic/jaw dropping deal on a CPO XJ-L575. Velocity blue, cream interior everything I would have spec'ed.....except the black wheels. The wheels are being coated back to silver and she gets delivered on Wednesay.

Give the poor bloke a chance, it's not being delivered until Wednesday and it's barely Monday over there!

Just making sure he doesn't forget, Kim! And if that was me, expecting to take delivery of a "575", there wouldn't be much sleeping going on.

Congrats of finding what you wanted.
I'm also looking but can't find one with specs I want.

Sorry I've been away for so long. There is a story to this!

The car was delivered, and then went away for paint correction and ceramic coating. Two days later it return looking immaculate (with wheels powder coated silver). The next morning I was admitted into hospital with a wacking dose of COVID 19!

After nearly 4 weeks of pure, total hell, I was released. I have never wanted to die so much in my life, I spent days just fighting for the next breath. I'm home now but have zero energy, can't taste anything, can't smell my own farts (they are dreadful, so I'm told) and I sleep 18-20 hours a day.. I've lost over 50lbs and just can't be bothered to eat. Thankfully, my wife and daughter have not shown any symptoms (both tested positive)

I'll post pics when I have the confidence to actually drive the car. Until then, wear a face mask, wash your hands and take this **** seriously. If you don't it might just kill you.

From someone that nearly lost seeing his 6yr old grow up.

Wow, glad you’re back home and recovering. Hopefully you’ll be back to your usual self soon and cruising around in the new car.

So happy to hear you made it through this deadly virus. Hope your convalescence doesn't last to long and you can get back to life and your XJR.

Sad to hear about you catching this dangerous virus, but glad to see you are on the other side of it and doing better.
We can't wait to see one of the few 575's on the site!

Thanks for all the kind words, I really appreciate them.

I really wanted to take the car out today but, after backing the car out, I didn't have the energy to drive her. Baby steps?

Please, please look after yourselves! It really isn't fun and there is a good chance COVID-19 will kill you.

Wash your hands and wear a mask,,,,It might just save your life,,,or your kids

Good god Wombat, glad you're ok man. That sounds horrendous. You said your wife and daughter also have it? Stay safe, all in due time.
