Default After Market Aluminum Thermostat Housing For 3.0L And 5.0L Engines!!

Well more good news on the engine cooling front!!
Euro-Amp has just released the Thermostat housing in lifetime Aluminum!

This is another great addition to the other Aluminum cooling parts.
You can get it straight from Euro-Amp or EBay. About $145. Note there are two variations. With sensor and without so do check yours before ordering and it should be easy to see if you car has the sensor or not. Without the sensor the part is about $10 cheaper.

Very nice looking. It's great to see another aftermarket part that improves in some areas.
I don't know if I'll be using one of these myself though - I don't recall seeing any problems with the genuine thermostat design, and I don't mind replacing the whole thing every 100k+ miles or so anyway, or when ever I feel the urge to refresh the system again. As it stands, I don't expect to cross that bridge again until, oh... 2031 maybe?.
I would be a little more enthused to see a good quality aftermarket aluminium replacement for the rear heater manifold cross-over pipe. That's a weak point for all 2010+ 5.0L, both NA & SC.
But again, it's is great to see this being offered, and I hope it is well-received and profitable enough to satisfy the producer.

I also would prefer a rear coolant manifold, but it seems like a waste. A part like that is only as good as its face seals.

So does this new part fit the 5.0 NA as well?

Or is it another 3.0/5.0 SC only part?

No as I posted above it does include the 5.0L NA. There are two versions with and without the sensor. They are interchangeable so check what your car has first.
Yes still waiting for the rear water manifold to be released!

Sounds like dangoesfast will be our guinea pig for this!
Hope to see you post your results. I do plan to buy this myself.

Probably not - the XE isn't listed as compatible. I haven't checked my car to see if I have sensors, I have enough projects to be working on for now

Plus the horrendous shipping charges from the US make this one fairly unlikely. If it had been available when I bought my kit (literally two or three weeks ago!) I might have looked further into the sensors. Oddly the finish on the part also doesn't seem to match the rest of the engine bay.. all the other aluminium is quite a matte finish including most of the Euroamp cooling kit, the rear header and this seem to be a shinier finish. Gotta have that matchy matchy

Just refreshing this thread to see if anyone has installed the Euro Amp Aluminum thermostat?

Also, as the euro Amp versions appear out of stock right now, has anyone installed this version?

Car was put back together end of day Friday but no time for testing, should get it back on Monday.
