Not really stalked, that was to just attract attention.
After a recent visit to my unusual Jaguar dealer I exchanged pleasantries with one of their new sales guys. I bought my XJ Portfolio from them in 2011.
With 91,000 on the clock and it’s annual service rapidly approuching I asked what changes had been made to the marque in the preceding 7 years.
That’s when his eyes lit up and he escorted me to his office.
No doubt I’ve been added to his target list.
As I understand the Autobiograghy is a step above the Portfolio and has many new features that I’d find attractive. Self parking? Lane guidance and a much improved touch screen features. I’m not bothered about a larger engine than the 3.00 d it serves me fine and anything over and above would just add points to my licence.
Ive done a comparative web search and the only Autobiograghies have been XJL’s That extra length would be a problem. My present XJ has a 50mm clearance to the closed garage door. Is the autobiograghy the longer version ? Obliviously I could ask my new very best friend, but don’t want to show more interest than is needed at his stage.

 

So should I take it from the almost 300 views that non one else here knows whether the autobiography is exclusively a Long wheel base vehicle.
Looks like I’ll have to go into the dealership and ask my new friend.
Incidently even he didn’t answer the email I sent him. Doh doh.

 

As Jaguar offers the XJs market specific you would need someone from the UK to respond. But according to the website it is only available in your country as an XJL.
