after a 6 hour drive to canada with the heat on (temp ranging from 72-78 degrees)....i went to turn the vent, touched the metal and nearly burned my fingers. instantly it made sense....hot air blowing on metal for 6 hours would heat it up. but this never happens on other cars.

needless to say....someone over looked this user experience
