Hey guys I just got my first xj today ! The first issue I noticed with the tweeter on the driver door is blown - makes noise but is extremely screechy on certain note no matter the EQ ... and the door drivers (door subwoofers ) don’t do anything, the music is crystal clear loud but it has no bass whatsoever. Is this a common issue? I’ve listened to many different car systems and I’m just not sure why the door driver aren’t making any bass.. please help

 

It may be just a matter of adjusting your 3 way equalizer and fader.

You need to fix your Public Profile to include details of your XJ, in particular the model year, engine size, and wheelbase (swb or lwb). That information can help us answer your questions.

 

I’ve messed with the Eq in every which way and it still doesn’t have the depth I’m looking for , I used to have a Cadillac STS with the Bose 15 speaker sound system and it was much more lively then this jag .

 

The car is a 2011 swb with the bower ps and Wilkins upgrade , but it’s not impressive in terms of bass
