Got my car back, popping noise gone, now there is a rattle and they still didn't figure out or hear the crackling noise from the c pillar next to drivers ear. Anyone had that noise and know fix, bringing car back after holidays.

The headliner has these two tabs where the pillar trim slides into. Tell them to wrap foam tape around those tabs and then put the trim back in place. That's 99% of the time what that noise is.

 

I think I isolated the noise and it seems to be coming from the small square (1.5"x1.5") located directly above drivers left ear in headliner, not sure if it is microphone or temp senosr( there is one over passengers right ear in headliner), but when noise is happening if I press on that plastic small lovered piece and hold it it stops. I guess I could drive around with my hand positioned on it.

Appreciate the responses, got a fix for the plastic tab thing?
