Hey my car just started making a beep noise only when driving , I have no warnings , it beeps every 15 or so seconds consistently. All doors are shut trunk closed I fiddled with all the sound and radio and cluster settings . Still no luck with the beep , any idea ?

 

Could it be a seat belt warning?

 

I think to remember that on the X100 (XK), a partly defective airbag could signal itself by a regular beep coming from the airbag unit itself. Not sure this is valid here, but worth mentioning.

 

If this is any help to any one I’ve noticed it comes and goes depending on a suspension fault I got on the dash that comes and goes rather fast .

 

Can't help with that beep but strangely I hear a very soft beep if the trunk is open and I have the liner pulled up working on something in the trunk well.
Verified it today while working on a second 2014 XJR but it may do it on all XJ's? Even had the owner come over and he could hear it too. Maybe once every 30-50 seconds?

The air suspension and battery monitor stuff is in the trunk but who knows?
