Default converting single headlight from lhd to rhd

Hi guys

as title i have just purchased a front end light damaged xj and needs a headlight.

i can get hold of a secondhand headlight at a very good price.
however it is off a left hand drive vehicle and mine is a rhd.

first question is a bit of a dumb one
is there any difference in the light itself?

and if so is there anyway to adjust this for a rhd vehicle.

thanks in advance guys

I thought you could be lucky - my 2014 XK headlamp beam pattern is suitable for driving on either side of the road and there is no need for adjustment for driving abroad. My earlier 2007 XK had a lever in the headlamp unit for switching the beam dip direction.

Unfortunately the X351 is NOT like this and the LHD and RHD headlamps have different beam patterns.

According to the Parts Catalogue, there is also the consideration of LED, Adaptive LED and Bi-Xenon headlamp options on the X351 to further complicate parts sourcing.
