Dash Light Question
Immediately below the touch screen is a series of six buttons starting on the far left with a picture of a lock, then an unlock, hazard, menu, etc. Only the hazard button lights up at night.
Immediately below the CD slot are buttons, all unlit at night. Below that are a series of buttons, largely controlling the air system including defrost, all unlit at night.
Is this their unfortunate design or do I have a lighting problem on my Jag?
I do realize that many of these functions can be controlled on the touch screen
I own an '11 XJ Base.
Thanks so much!

Every switch should be lit including the thin "chrome" strips outlining the gear selector and parking brake on the console. Perhaps the dimmer control for interior lighting might be turned down so low that you can't see the effects. You have a 2011; the "Platinum" warranty should still be in effect (unless the car has over 50k miles) - if there is an issue with the ambient lighting the warranty should cover it.
