This is for jag techs out there. I haven't investigated this any further, I will when I get back to work on Monday from the holiday weekend. I have done tons of these Enhancements. I have only seen this once before, but never looked further into it because it wasn't the car I was working on, it was a fellow employees "comeback" sort of speak. I was doing an enhancement yesterday. Before I started I played a DVD in the car, New XJ of course. When I was done with the enhancement, the car wouldn't play that same DVD. Car was in park, parking brake applied, still would play it. Did a hard reset, did the lock for 5 minutes, start for 2, lock for 5 min that you're suppose to do after the audio module update. No change. Went to car configuration file to see if the dvd player was deactivated sort of speak. No option to activate. I had no issues while doing the enhancement. I was wondering if anybody has seen this, and what they found. The car does play cd's. This car was a low VIN range, so the audio module was replaced during the enhancement. I think it's software related, but... Any opinions would be nice.
