For those of you with permanent mounted dashcams or radar detectors, where is a convenient (switched) tap to power such devices? Maybe something in the overhead console?

 

Mine is tapped off the fuse box in the engine.

 

Very easy to gently pull off the black cover on the front glass in front of the rear view mirror where you will find an easy tap in that only works when the ignition is on. I also purchased a short set of wires from ebay for my Valentine.
