Exclamation Headlight Bulbs

Anyone know how to get to the headlight bulbs?

they look like they were built so you have to take the whole assembly out.

I've had replacement bulbs for a few months now. Not really interested in removing the front bumper to swap them. I'm hoping that I can get to the rear of the assembly by removing the front wheels/tires and going through the plastic wheel well.

I tried that the top screws are very deep. And the headlight needs to be pulled out..

Sorry so late! Nope, bumper cover has to come off to get at the HID Burners.

Hope this helps!

noticed today when i started up my car that one of the headlights starts up a little more pinkish than the other (until it warms up)...i guess im going to be needing a new headlight soon not looking forward to having to take the bumper off

Im wondering if I can just do the screws on the top....and possibly by the screws by the wheel (which i would rather not do)

Unfortunately you have to remove the whole bumper cover! I would recommend high end bulbs. I also turned off the DRL in hopes they will last longer.

It's pretty easy if you have at least ramps. You don't even need to jack up the vehicle to do so if you turn wheels clock to clock in order to get at the fasteners in the wheel well. Once you pull back each wheel well liner, there are two fasteners one vertical and horizontal that adjust fitment at the front bumper and removing those will allow you to get it free.

Just remember to disconnect the washer hose from the pump at the passenger side. Took me 30 minutes the first time. You'll need extensions to get in tight spaces, use quarter inch tools if on hand.
