Default Headlight washer fuse

Hello!
Someone knows which fuse disarm the Headlight pump? My headlight has a leak that starts everytime it activates so i need to flick it around to stop the leak. As i dont care about it i just want to disarm it. The owner’s handbook doesn’t have an specific name for “headlight washer” or similar. I found names such as:
F4- Power Wash Pump
F38- Windshield Wash Pump Relay
F64- IAM (head unit)
F69- HLDF

i found somewhere else that the Power Wash pump is the one responsible for the headlight washer. I’ll leave the info here in case someone needs it!

Welcome to the forums Rod,

YES - Jaguar use Powerwash for the headlamp washer and Screenwash for the windscreen washer.

You might want to resolve that headlamp leak. They are a horrendous cost to replace.

The issue is common to many vehicle brands... and the price charged by Jaguar is indeed exaggerated.
One solution that often works fine on other brands is to fit inline check valves like these:

The only issue can be that some valves require a too high pressure to open relatively to the pump.

Thank you guys.
i just bought my first Jag. I’m super excited and in love for it. It’s a XJ-L v8 sc 2012, i had a mustang gt 18 before the xj so I’m not used at all with all the luxury and so much space!
but there’s a few things that annoys me such as front door handles extremely hard to open the door but if i press the door in with the other hand and pull the handle it opens butter smooth. another is that both times i putted the xj on a jack i saw coolant dripping on the floor and some splashes around the coolant reservoir. Strangely it looks like the chassis bending is creating a gap somewhere. But i drove it a few days after without any leak or fluid loss. That’s for sure an intriguing vehicle.

Be careful how you jack the XJ.
It's all AL. and Jaguar has very specific instructions for lifting.

I am very glad I have a lift as it's much safer lifting it at the 4 pinch welds compared to anywhere else on the car.

For the door handles,it's certainly the door that needs some adjusting, did it on my former XKR (X100), but never on a more recent Jaguar, should be an easy process though, check the workshop manual.
For the coolant, are you sure it's not some of the washer fluid? if the jets leak, the liquid usually does accumulate in the plastic tray that it below the engine compartments, and this tray has inner walls creating small adjacent containers. So if you lift the car on one side, the liquid will flow above the wall and leak.
As mentioned above by Clubairth, do not lift both sides of the car, except if you can do this simultaneously with two jacks. If you lift one side and then the other you may bend the frame.

I wasn’t aware that the frame was that sensitive. I’ll be very careful now.

about the door adjust, could you please give me some insight of where i can find this info? I believe that it’s a door adjustment because if I slightly press the door in, the handle works smooth and easy.

thanks again for every reply.

Have a look here::

For the frame, I'm a bit surprised also this could bend it, but if it's written I suppose it has been tested. Maybe the risk is more important on LWB, I don't know, and don't want to do the test ;-)
