Does anyone know how to stop the creaking and popping noises that come from the headliner. My 2011 XJ has already had the service done prior to my ownership and the dealer says they wont fix it again. It seems to happen most noticeably when it is very cold outside. I notice creaking noise at the top of the B piller and rattling and popping noise from the C pillar area. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

 

Blake, the final fix that jaguar had was removing the headliner and then loosening all the sunroof fasteners like a 1/4 turn, adding some red loc-tite and then tightening it back down. If they fixed it early on, they may not have added the loc-tite, therefore it loosened up over time.
