Just wondered if anyone else's rotary gear knob gets hot after driving for a while?

 

Not that I've noticed. It sometimes is almost too hot to touch after sitting out in the sun on very hot days. I started putting a small black microfiber cloth over the shiny parts in that area when I park it. Also helps when the sun hits said shiny bits just wrong...guess that's not as big a problem in Ol' Blighty.

 

Yeah unfortunately that's not a big problem over the big pond, It was something I just noticed after doing a 11 hour run with no heating on. It's not bad just odd.
