My 2014 has nearly 90k miles and runs VERY strong. I have no idea about any prior work though since Jaguar won't give me the service records.

Very odd that they wont give you service records. I just called my dealership and asked for them and they emailed it to me in like a day. And I bought by 2011 used. I go to THousand Oaks Jaguar so maybe try them?

Ha! Jaguar of Thousand Oaks is the place that won't turn them over. There's always some excuse about how they can't do it at the particular moment. It took forever just to get someone there to confirm that the car was still under CPO warranty (which doesn't seem to actually cover anything thus far).

This thread inspired to reach out to Jaguar of Thousand Oaks again and voila! They sent me the records right away, almost as if they heard me complaining.

It appears my car has been well taken care of with all its recommended services done on schedule.

2011 Jaguar XJ 5.0 103,000 miles. Unfortunately a few weeks ago it’s had a huge problem started misfiring 2,4,6,8. Still don’t know what the problem is.

95,000 miles original engine. Replaced water pump, front coolant crossover pipe, multiple plastic coolant tubes, rear crossover coolant pipe, coolant recovery tank due to coolant level sensor malfunction, 2 rear main seals, all motor mounts, transmission mount. Electric radiator fan (ruined due to front crossover pipe spraying coolant on it)
