I just purchased a 2011 Jaguar XJ Supercharged and it came with only one key fob. I purchased a key fob and uncut key from a parts store that is OEM, but need instructions on programming that's not going to cost be $200 like the dealer. Please help.

 

A dealer has to do it by hooking up their shop computer as there is no non electronic way of programming the x351. And you need to take both fobs as when programming fobs the previously stored fob information is overwritten. Also, a dealer can code cut the emergency key.

 

If you're up for it, you could look into getting the British Diagnostics software package to interface with your Jag.
As I understand, it lets you add and remove fobs for your car. And the price would be less than $200.
